Daniel W. Budinoff is an industry leader with over 46 years of experience specializing in security system design and implementation for various residential and corporate environments.  Mr. Budinoff is the founder and President of Security Specialists, a successful Connecticut based security systems integration company that provides top quality life safety and electronic security systems to residential and corporate facilities within the New York and Connecticut regions.  Mr. Budinoff is a fully licensed professional in several capacities including Security and Life Safety systems. Mr. Budinoff has been a member of various security industry committees throughout his career including Vice Chairman of the National Training School and PSA Security Network Board of Directors, currently PSA Past Chairman. Mr. Budinoff is Certified on many security and Life Safety Products including Software House, DSX, DMP, Avigilon, Samsung, EST, Kidde and others.

Kimberly (Kissell) Rescigno Budinoff General Manager

Kimberly (Kissell) Rescigno Budinoff is Vice President and General Manager at Security Specialists. She joined our team nearly 15 years ago and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. She is often seen developing, training and redefining our expanding sales, accounting, HR, technical and project management teams. She enjoys designing and implementing innovative security technologies and continues to stay involved with industry conferences to research, test and vet new manufacturer platforms that are relevant to the advancement of the electronic security field. She appreciates opportunities to consult and be client facing while also welcoming feedback. She encourages both clients and staff alike to approach her with open communication to produce positive action-oriented outcomes. Kimberly is results-driven and has focused on increasing the team’s effectiveness and the company’s revenue. Kimberly is well-known and well respected throughout the industry. Kimberly is a Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM through SIA) and is currently finishing up the EC licensing process for CT, NY & PA. She also maintains her OSHA 30 certification along with almost all of the manufacturer certifications of the products that Security Specialists promotes.

Kimberly founded Security Specialists’ Community Outreach Program. She is passionate about giving back while encouraging and empowering others within her organization, community and social network to participate as well. She volunteers and sits on various boards throughout our community and our industry. She believes in the importance of nurturing environments that foster progressive advancement. The opportunity to assist those in need or mentor those still trying to navigate their way in the industry she finds are not only fulfilling but, paramount to the growth of any community, industry or organization. Kimberly is the former founding Chairman of PSA Security Network’s Sales and Marketing Committee; she remains an active member.

Prior to joining Security Specialists, Kimberly worked in operations management for Enterprise Holdings, where she oversaw daily operations at multiple Baltimore locations which contributed to key growth in the North American markets. Kimberly has received various awards throughout her career, including Security Systems News Top 20 Under 40 and Security Specialists Employee of the Year. She also has been cited for substantial revenue growth, Branch of the Year, Employee Development, Community Outreach, Branch Customer Satisfaction and various other achievements throughout her career.

Caitlin Beaudry Account Management

Caitlin Beaudry is a seasoned sales professional that specializes in Account Management and providing white glove service to our clients. Caitlin has been a part of the Security Specialists team for 3 years, and comes from a finance background. Caitlin began her career in finance at 16, pursued her Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics, and has a diverse background working with small businesses, large corporations, and individuals / families. This experience enables her to analyze each client’s specific needs, and craft solutions to help them meet their goals.

Caitlin specializes in commercial and national accounts with multiple locations, with particular focus to the financial, healthcare and education sectors, and her goal is to custom tailor security solutions to each client, to ensure that they are protected on all fronts.

Chad McNeil Senior Security Specialist

Chad McNeil is Senior Security Specialists. Chad is a Security, CCTV and Fire Systems expert with hands-on experience and a proven track record of solving customer service problems. Chad is a great part of our knowledgeable team at Security Specialists and a great resource for you, our clients. He is known for a clear understanding of customer objectives and technology’s role in achieving these objectives.

John Anthony Coviello Sales Professional

John Anthony Coviello is a sales professional who has been taking great care of customers since 1984. He has a background in the Music Industry, having managed a major Drum and Percussion retail outlet in Boston MA, and moved on to become National Sales Director for a top-tier musical instrument manufacturer.

The most important aspect of sales is building relationships with customers, and John is known for his outstanding Customer Service and individualized attention. Large or small, a satisfied customer is John’s goal and focus.

He is also a professional drummer, having played and toured with many well-known artists, including Eddie Money. Drums and music continue to be a passion for John. John is also an avid motorcyclist and owns and maintains several classic Harley Davidson motorcycles. John is proud to be a part of Security Specialists, where he is able to give his customers the service and attention that they want and deserve with the highest quality and most comprehensive offerings in the security business.
