We are currently seeking individuals for the following positions:

Lead Service Technician

The Lead Service Technician will oversee the installation, programming, integration, servicing, and repair of physical wiring and security equipment, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV, surveillance video equipment, and other related products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, enhancing consumer experiences, and improving overall customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in maximizing client retention and driving profitability.

Requirements

  • Properly licensed in CT and registered in NY; L-6 or comparable low-voltage license required
  • Minimum FIVE years of verifiable experience installing, PROGRAMMING and troubleshooting intrusion detection, access control, life safety and video surveillance systems
  • Knowledgeable of all relevant compliance codes and responsible for assuring all work meets those codes
  • Has general knowledge of basic construction of commercial and residential buildings
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Tie workflow to schedule
  • Manage all on-site inspection, installation, repair, servicing, cleaning and testing tasks
  • Produce timely and detailed service tickets, reports, logs and other documentation as needed
  • Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential
  • Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner
  • Cooperate with the Service Programmer and/or Service Coordinator and share information across the organization
  • Make appropriate solution recommendations based on customer requirements
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Stay current on industry trends by participating in appropriate educational opportunities and reading professional publications
  • Complete other tasks as needed to fulfill Company objectives
